미라벨궁전의 "미라벨공원(Mirabell garten)"

 

오스트리아의 잘츠부르크주(Salzburg 州) 잘츠부르크 시내에 있는 17세기 정원으로

잘츠부르크(Salzburg) 신시가지의 미라벨 궁전(Mirabell Palace,알테나우 궁전)은

1606년 볼프 디트리히 대주교가 사랑하는 여인 살로메를 위해 지었으며,당시는 알트나우라고 불렀다.

후임자인 마르쿠스 시티쿠스 대주교가 지금의 이름으로 바꾸었다.

미라벨정원은 1690년 바로크 건축의 대가인 요한 피셔 폰 에를라흐(Johann Fischer von Erlach)가 조성하였고,

18세기에 건축가 요한 루카스 폰 힐데브란트(Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt)가 개조하였으나

1818년 화재로 파괴된 후 지금의 모습으로 복원하였다.

 

예전에는 궁전에 속해 있어 일반인들이 들어갈 수 없었지만 지금은 완전 개방하고 있다.

전체적인 조화를 중시하여 조성하였으며,분수와 연못, 대리석 조각물과 많은 꽃들로 잘 장식되어 있다.

중앙분수 주위에는 1690년 모스트(Most)가 그리스 신화 속 영웅을 조각한 작품이 늘어서 있고

그 옆에는 유럽의 많은 바로크 예술품들을 전시해 놓은 바로크 박물관이 있다.

정원 서쪽에는 1704~1718년에 만든 울타리로 주위를 두른 극장이 있고,

북쪽 문 앞에는 정교한 청동조각으로 꾸민 패가수스 분수가 있다.

영화 《사운드 오브 뮤직(The Sound of Music)》에서

여주인공 마리아가 아이들과 '도레미 송(Do Re Mi Song)'을 불렀던 곳으로 더욱 널리 알려졌다.

미라벨 궁전은 규모는 작아도 콘서트가 많이 열리는 곳으로 유명한데,

볼프강 아마데우스 모차르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756~1791)가

궁전 내 대리석 홀에서 대주교를 위해 연주를 하였으며, 지금도 실내악 연주회가 자주 열린다.

또 세계에서 가장 낭만적이고 아름다운 결혼식이 열리는 식장으로도 인기가있는데,
